January 12th, 2015 Letter

This week has been pretty basic. We taught people lessons about Jesus... and umm... yeah.. haha

Catholics - not to say anything bad about them - let's just say that they have a lot of things that are not completely true about their doctrine and that is really hard for them to see. We had a lesson with two Catholics that just talked our ears off with wonderful false doctrine which, in all honesty, is really hard to hear because it drives the spirit away!

Overall it's been a good week! We had Zone conference and a lot of changes are happening with how hard we are working!! There's a goal now (or a standard of excellence) that is 20 contacts a day!! I don't even get that much in a week!!!! Before I went for about 5 a day!! But with these new goals the President is trying to lift our view of what we can do!! In 2013 this mission got 61 baptisms, but in 2014 we got 140!! More than double!! You know what changed? GOALS!! We raised our view of what we could do!! And I believe that 2015 will double that!!

Things that made me smile:

Falsetto: You know how a guy can make his voice really high? Well when my big Australian companion does it it's awesome!!!

Apples and peanut butter. Oh boy!! After a long day we eat that - awesome!!

Rice: You eat rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No joke, I have a rice belly.
