Monday, August 25th, 2014 Letter

Hello!! This week was another week in paradise!! Well, a lot of it was riding our bikes... we ride about 20 miles around every day!! I know it's crazy, and for your sake I will not tell you how the traffic is... but the Lord's work is going forth!!

We have been teaching a lot of new investigators which is really cool because we get to bring them to the knowledge of the restored gospel!! I don't think I will ever fully understand how these people feel. The other day we were teaching a man I contacted and he didn't want to meet in his house because all it is is a 5x5 foot room. That's the size of our bathroom!!! He went on to tell us how he saw his brother get shot and a guy's head get cut off (way before now, no worries). But he told about what Christ has done for him and then he asked us how we have seen Christ in our lives. Wow! Let's just say, that was hard to say cause Christ has been in every step I have ever made!! Here where everything is just so different He has been there to show me the beauty which I hope you know everything I tell you about is because I just love it!! At the times where I have been biking for an hour and a half and it's hot and I feel like I can take another step strength comes to push me forward and that is the grace of Christ, to be there with you throughout your life.

We work hard... every minute of everyday is spent forwarding the work!!

You need to see some of the places we eat at here... haha I learned never to judge something by the way it looks on the outside!! So many places look super sketchy but are super nice on the inside!!

Things that made me smile:

1) Avocado shakes!! I know it sounds weird but these people know how to use those!!

2) Fat Indonesian kid saying, "Welcome to Indonesia!!" hahahahaha I died!!

3) Wendy's frosties! You better believe I found them!!

4) Letters from home... even if I don't respond I love reading what is happening.

I love you all!!

HURRAH FOR INDONESIA! FOR INDONESIA HURRAH
